Spring Mountain Track days with Las Vegas Porsche Club

This is a 2 day High Performance Drivers Event (HPDE) at Spring Mountain Motorsports Park. The event is put on by the Las Vegas Region Porsche Club, great event and people.  Anyone can sign up with any car, convertibles must have roll bar. There were Porsche’s, Corvettes, BMW,s, Mazda’s, VW’s and even a Tesla.

The Porsche Club offers entry level training with their instructors so you acquire the appropriate skills before you are on the track alone. It’s always good to know the track before you’re out alone.

It’s an excellent driver education program for anyone wanting to run their car on an actual road course. They offer this for free, it’s nice to tip the volunteer instructors for their work. Whatever your skill level you run in groups with similar abilities.

They ran the 3.4 mile course. There are four run groups.

1. Beginner with instructors
2. Novice after signed off from Beginner’s group
3. Intermediate
4. Advanced
